A passionate story teller, Kyla loves playing a wide range of roles. Dark comedies are a guilty pleasure, pushing herself and the audience outside their comfort zones. When it comes to drama, being an explorer or sage allow her to connect with more personal and sensitive aspects of characters that she relates to. 

Originally a trained dancer, Kyla has performed and choreographed in Toronto Fringe Festivals and Dance Ontario Weekends, independent productions, music videos, and industry showcases. With an abundance of theatre experience, she turned her focus towards acting for film and TV.

Past credits Athena in the short film "Athena" (2015) and Nurse Cassidy in the short film "Momemo" (2014), as well as commercials, actor roles, and off-camera production work. She is currently working on writing a short film and TV series so stay tuned for updates!
